Fingers crossed everyone – during my visit to Helsinki there is a chance I might get to spend the night at the unbelievable WISA Wooden Design Hotel. The structure, designed by architect Pieta-Linda Auttila, was the winning entry in a competition organized by UPM, a leading Finnish forest products company. Made from a variety of native Finnish woods, the structure is only a prototype and will be open until the end of September.
